Senior Specialist
Under limited supervision, the Senior Specialist is primarily focused on execution of complex processing, operational and / or administrative work following defined and sometimes undefined procedures. The Senior Specialist is responsible for following established guidelines to identify and resolve problems, escalating issues, and contributing to workflow / process changes and redesigns. Individuals in this position should have a strong understanding of consumer products and the department processes.
This role covers a broad range of responsibilities and duties.
- With little to no instruction, performs complex functions, completes tasks that can be complicated, and works reports.
- Performs a thorough review of existing procedures to ensure they are accurate.
- Collaborates with other Senior Specialists and the Workflow Coordinator to create new procedures.
- Performs Quality Verification on teammates work.
- Identifies and resolves issues that do not have established guidelines.
- Research and respond to complaints.
- Contributes to workflow process change and redesign.
- Responsible for performing an analysis of current team reports looking for efficiencies.
- Maintains knowledge of all team functions - Is fully proficient in performing them and works under limited to no supervision.
- Seen as a subject matter expert across the line of business and delivers subject-matter expertise to customers and teammates.
- Other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required
Minimum 3 years of consumer product experience with a strong knowledge of the businessAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships among team members and product and support partnersExperience working in a production-based environmentWorks well with others in a fully developed team environmentOpen minded and adaptable to new ideas in a changing environmentExceptional attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesProficient in Microsoft applicationsIntermediate Excel ExperienceProven ability to handle monetary / processing functions independently.Proven ability to handle high transaction volumes accurately and meet production goals.Proficiency in the following KeyCorp systems : MSP, ALS, Hogan, Quest, CMOD, KVD, and Microsoft OfficeExcellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated problem / solving and decision makingMust demonstrate proven, outstanding customer service skillsStrong working knowledge of government regulationsWorking knowledge of systems that provide loan informationThis position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $20.19 - $30.77 per hour. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
