Manufacturing Engineer

Andrews & Cole is seeking a degreed Engineer for a Manufacturing Engineering opportunity in central Kansas. Under the general supervision and guidance of the Engineering Manager or senior engineer to whom assigned, you will perform a variety of functions in the development and / or improvement of production methods, processes, machines, automation / interface, equipment, and tooling designs.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist with major engineering projects, independently handle less complex portions of projects, and complete tasks as assigned.
• Work collectively with Quality, Production, Maintenance and others to improving manufacturing methods and reduce costs.
• Make recommendations regarding product design from the standpoint of manufacturing engineering. Participate in the implementation of new methods, equipment, machines and tooling.
• Continuously seek out, evaluate, and present areas for improvement to quality, cost, performance, and environmental impact.
• Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor
