Job descriptionWork 12-hour shifts, one weekend a month. Time-off requests can be accommodated with advance notice. Gather patient vitals, medical history, and the purpose of the visit while preparing them for examination. Ensure that all ordered tests are conducted accurately and promptly. Administer prescribed medications and treatments following the established protocols. Perform blood draws and prepare labs for processing. Conduct laboratory tests and maintain lab quality controls and equipment as per instructions. Respond promptly to lab messages and callback requests. Execute drug screening procedures in compliance with established regulations. Document and administer patient immunizations following approved procedures. Prepare and sterilize exam rooms and instruments for medical procedures. Maintain complete and precise documentation for all patient interactions. Certification as a Medical Assistant from AMT or AAMA OR EMT Certification is required. A minimum of two years of experience is preferred.
