Job Title : Entry-Level Chemist
Job Description
As a Entry-Level Chemist , you will be helping the Metabolism, Dose Prep Team. 90% of your day will be spent in the lab getting client test materials formulated using wet chemistry techniques such as weighing materials, using pH probes, graduated cylinders, mixing samples, and heating samples. After 6 months to 1 year, you will also work with analytical chemistry instrumentation including UV-Vis, HPLC, and LC-MS. The remaining 10% of your time will involve administrative tasks such as taking inventory and documenting work. This role is crucial as study technicians in in-life cannot dose the animals without these client test materials. Your workload will be based on client demand and the tests that need to be conducted. Initially, you will do more prep work and basic tasks, but as you become more efficient, you will have opportunities to expand your skill set.
