This job was posted by Vermont JobLink. Superintendent Job Responsibilities : Assumes leadership of all field operations, including self-performed and subcontracted work. Responsible for the successful execution of fieldwork and project safety. Oversee projects from beginning to end. Complete work per plan and specs. Schedule the sequence of activities and identify the resources required to maintain a successful schedule. Develop and implement a site logistics plan involving earthwork, utility pipelines, and roadways. Coordinate construction activities, shutdowns, testing and inspections. Lead the coordination of equipment use. Manage relations with subcontractors, vendors, and, as necessary, the owner. Contribute to project start-up and close-out efforts.

Job Requirements : Minimum of three years experience successfully supervising employees and subcontractors on a construction site. Must have a strong work ethic, be reliable, and maintain a positive professional attitude. Must be safety focused and have excellent communication skills. Must have high attention to detail. Must have computer skills.
