Role Snapshot
This is not a traditional emergency services role. As a Paramedic (Proactive Health Coach) , you’ll guide patients through their wellness journeys, help them feel at ease, and—when appropriate—use your paramedic skill set (e.g., IV starts, injections) in a planned, proactive setting. You’ll orchestrate clinic flow, clearly communicate our membership model , and keep visits smooth, timely, and reassuring.
What You’ll Lead
Patient Flow & Experience : Welcome, orient, and guide patients; keep schedules tight and visits smooth; set a calm, confident tone.
Proactive Coaching : Encourage healthy habits and adherence to care plans; explain membership benefits, processes, and next steps.
Hands-On Support (Proactive Use of Skills) : Perform injections and IV starts within clinic protocols; prep rooms and supplies; maintain clean, orderly spaces.
Communication & Follow-Through : Provide clear verbal updates, document accurately, track tasks, and close loops without drop-offs.
Operational Rhythm : Support opening / closing routines, daily checklists, product / stock cues, and event or review initiatives.
Privacy & Professionalism : Model HIPAA awareness and uphold high standards in every interaction.

Qualifications (California / ALS Readiness)
Current California Paramedic License (EMSA) or NREMT-Paramedic with plan to obtain CA licensure promptly.
AHA BLS (required) and AHA ACLS (required) ; PALS preferred .
Demonstrated competency with IV starts and intramuscular / subcutaneous injections in a non-emergent, protocol-driven setting.
Comfort educating patients, explaining a membership program , and guiding proactive health behaviors.
Strong verbal communication, professionalism under pressure, and meticulous documentation / follow -through.
Tech-comfortable (EMR / scheduling, online forms, digital payments, texting platforms).
Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.

Schedule & Compensation
Schedule : Full-time, with Saturday availability preferred.
