About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse (RN)

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : 2 years of current Labor & Delivery nursing experience in a hospital setting, including OR experience

License : Valid RN license

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP

Must-Have : Must have completed at least one travel assignment in the previous 12 months. Experience with vaginal deliveries and triage. Ability to float to maternal / baby and postpartum units.

Description :

This position offers same-day interviews.

Qualified candidates should be prepared for a call.

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute your professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.

You will care for a variety of patient types including c-sections and vaginal deliveries.

Patient ratios are 1 : 1 to 1 : 2.

You will provide care using the following drips : magnesium, insulin, and pitocin.

Scrubs will be provided.

You may be required to float across multiple locations.

You will be required to work two of the three winter holidays (Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving).

Please note, there is a limit of one day request off during certain holiday periods for all travelers.

You will be expected to work every third weekend, including holiday rotation if scheduled.
