Mental Health Clinician I - CVYFC

ID#31191A - Clinician is responsible for providing direct mental health services to children / adolescents and their families in an outpatient clinic setting. The clinician is expected to abide by the agency regulations regarding record keeping; will work together with other involved agencies (i.e. DCFS, Probation) to coordinate treatment; and will demonstrate appropriate therapeutic and ethical practices at all times.

Duties Include :

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to minors.
• Participate in multi-systemic treatment that may or may not include educational, psychiatric, legal, and social services, and acts as coordinator of all such services.
• Responsible for documentation including assessments, log sheets, progress notes, and additional documentation as necessary.
• Develop interventions that target challenges presented by multiple systems (school, peers, community, family, and individual).
• Provide case management and linkage for family to assist with improved family functioning.
