Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an inpatient rehab position requiring an active MA RN license and AHA BLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an inpatient rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule from 07 : 00 to 19 : 30
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks
  • Patient care in an SCC Nursing unit
  • Uses Epic charting system
  • Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care for rehabilitation patients
  • Must maintain accurate medical records and administer medications while monitoring for reactions or side effects
  • Will regularly collaborate with the healthcare team to adjust patient treatment plans
  • No validated parking available at some locations; public transportation or paid public parking may be necessary
  • Use of UKG / Kronos for timekeeping is required
  • All requested time off must be noted at time of application
  • Local candidates within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are accepted, subject to local rate rules

  • Active RN license in Massachusetts required at time of consideration; no conditional or pending licenses accepted
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required
  • Familiarity with practical nursing principles and medical terminology
  • Must maintain confidentiality and accurately triage acute patients
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccination required, with no exemptions allowed
  • Two professional references required
