HIRING IMMEDIATELY Sunstates Security is hiring a Full-Time Security Officer in the Fort Madison, Iowa area. This position offers a pay rate of $17.00 / hr, paid weekly. Schedule : Days and hours can vary depending on operational needs. + Monday - Tuesday 10 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 AM, Thursday 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM, and Saturday - Sunday 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 00 PM. Requirements : + One year of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred. + Must have / be able to obtain a valid Iowa Security License. + Excellent customer service skills. + Must regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance. + Mentally analyze a situation, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure in the area of responsibility. + Read and understand written instruction and communicate information and ideas in clear and concise written form. + Exceptional Report Writing Skills. + Willing and able to work holidays, weekends, and in all weather conditions. + Able to work independently. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer must read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Education Requirements (All) High School diploma or equivalent
