Job description

Psychiatry physician employment in Tennessee : Locums Psychiatry Opportunity Memphis, TNAssignment Details

Start Date : ASAP (preferably Monday, Nov 24)

End Date : 12 / 31 / 2025

Schedule : MondayFriday, 8 AM5 PM

Call Requirements :

Potential weeknight call

Possible 1 weekend per month (TBD) Provider Type Needed

Preferred : Psychiatrist (MD / DO)

Acceptable : Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) Licenses & Certifications

Required Certifications :

BLS

Handle With Care

State License : Tennessee license (or ability to obtainconfirm with facility) Clinical Setting

Facility Type : Inpatient Psychiatric Facility

Patient Ages : Adult & Geriatric (18+)

Case Types :

Acute Adult Inpatient

Sub-Acute Adult Inpatient Duties & Expectations

Daily rounding on adultgeriatric patients

Participate in treatment team meetings : Mon / Wed / Fri (~1 hour each)

Manage solo case load

Complete all documentation

See both new and existing patients

EMR : WellSky Workload

Daily Census : ~2030 patients / day Support Staff

NPs

Social Workers / Clinical Staff
