Job Description : Travel Sleep Technologist – Eau Claire, WI

Position Title : Travel Sleep Technologist (RPSGT)

Location : Eau Claire, Wisconsin

Shift : Days, 4x9 schedule (Tuesday – Friday, 7 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM)

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Pay Range : $2,000 – $2,110 per week (gross)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct overnight and daytime sleep studies, including polysomnography, CPAP titration, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Prepare patients for sleep studies, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
  • Operate and maintain sleep lab equipment, ensuring accurate data collection.
  • Monitor patients during studies, recognizing and responding to abnormal events.
  • Score sleep studies and generate detailed reports for physician review.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, safety standards, and facility protocols.
  • Provide patient education regarding sleep disorders and treatment options.

    • Requirements

  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sleep technology preferred.
  • Strong technical skills with sleep study equipment and software.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a clinical environment.
