About The Position
Job Description
Medix is currently partnered with an premier outpatient group, supporting a major medical center, to fill an opening for a Cardiovascular Sonographer / Technologist travel clinician. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly qualified professional to work with a dedicated team across multiple nearby locations.
As a Cardiovascular Sonographer / Technologist , you will perform high-quality echocardiograms and diagnostic procedures. This role focuses on providing high-quality patient care by supporting an outpatient group associated with a major medical center. The position involves working with a wide variety of adult cardiac pathologies and ensuring efficient operations using EMR and PACS systems. You will primarily be assigned to one of three nearby outpatient sites, with the potential to provide coverage at other nearby sites if needed.

State License Needed : Ohio
Pay : Competitive compensation packages and potential stipends are available, with detailed rate ranges and eligibility to be discussed directly with your dedicated Medix recruiter.
Schedule / Shifts :
Hours Per Week : 40.0
Schedule : Five (5) 8-hour days, Monday - Friday.
Shift Time : Start between 7 : 30 AM - 8 : 00 AM, End between 4 : 30 PM - 5 : 00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
Perform cardiovascular sonography in an outpatient setting.
Support one main location with potential coverage at other nearby sites if needed.
Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records management.
Utilize PACS with GE viewer and TomTec embedded for technologist processing and reporting.
Work with equipment including Philips and Siemens machines.
Collaborate with a large team of technologists (currently 12, with a full team of 14) across the three locations.

Job Requirements
Certification : RDCS certification through ARDMS or RCS through CCI is required.
Experience : Experience with EPIC for electronic medical records management.
