Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) / Digital Engineer - Mid Level

As a Model Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) / Digital Engineer - Mid Level at MTSI, you will work as an integral member of a government / contractor team in support of our customer's operations organization. The team constructs, manages, and conducts discrete mission engineering and analysis to evaluate the efficacy of legacy architectures and new technologies and capabilities applied in new mission concepts of employment to meet evolving joint mission objectives.

This position is located in the Suitland, MD area.

Responsibilities :

• Generate system concept of operations, concept of employment, and requirements documentation.
• Participate in system testing and integration using model-based systems engineering tools and techniques.
• Your work will encompass advanced systems, such as command and control elements and data processing systems.
• Participating in system requirements reviews and creating and / or updating requirement specifications and technical documentation.
• Reviewing system engineering documentation to ensure specifications meet system needs and are accurate.
• Participate in the development of trade studies to support the selection of preferred design solutions and course of action alternatives in project development / product delivery.
• Providing review and analysis support to the test team development and conduct of formal testing.
• Participate in project technical risk analysis and mitigation.

The pay range for this position in Maryland is $121,000 / year to $145,000 / year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors. MTSI also offers a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
