Job descriptionPaid practical miles, paid for all miles loaded or empty Stop pay : $15 - $33 per stop Securing pay : $1 per 1000 pounds secured Hazmat placarded loads pay an additional 4 CPM Bonuses : Referral bonus : $5,000 Quarterly safety bonus Service awards Paid via direct deposit weekly Great company benefits starting the 1st of the month following 60 days : Company paid life insurance and short term disability Additional insurance : Long term disability, voluntary life, AD&D, accident, critical illness 401K with company matchafter 60 days employed 7 Paid company holidays 5 Days PTO after 90 days employed 3 days paid orientation with travel expense reimbursement Paid quarterly safety training Perks : PrePass, comdata card, uniforms Home Time : Home daily Schedule : Monday - Friday Shift : Starting around 6pm Route : Dedicated routehauling to Greer, SCand back Level of Touch : No unloading or loading, must secure freight Newer modeltrucks Automatic transmission Governed speed : 68mph ELD equipped using Geotab Outward facing camera Must be at least 21 years of age Must have CDL A license Must have a minimum of 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment No felony in the past 7 years No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen Hiring Radius : Drivers must live within 40 miles of Duluth, GA Transportation
Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A dedicated local dry van drivers in Duluth, GA. Drivers will be driving locally relaying a load from Duluth, GA to Greer, SC daily. Driver will have to do some stops in the Greer, SC area delivering or picking up forklifts, batteries, tow motors and their parts.
