Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position with Epic experience and a valid MT or compact RN license required.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a critical access hospital setting on the Labor & Delivery / Recovery / Postpartum unit
  • Provide care to mothers and newborns throughout all phases of obstetric care
  • Patient ratios range from 1 : 1 to 1 : 4 depending on acuity
  • Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 19 : 00-07 : 00 schedule
  • Variable weekends are required, typically every other weekend
  • Floating to other units and roles expected as needed
  • Uses Epic for electronic medical records
  • Care for laboring mothers and newborns during all phases of obstetrics
  • Support and flex among a multidisciplinary team as needed
  • Completion of online training modules prior to start and annually required
  • No on-call shifts required
  • No parking fee on site
  • Scrub color is flexible; scrubs provided for the OR
  • Return travelers must have a 3-month gap since prior employment at the facility

  • Active MT or compact state RN license in hand
  • Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience required
  • Current NRP and BLS certifications required
  • Experience using Epic EMR required
  • Ability to float between units as needed
  • Must not be a previous perm staff member within the last 3 months
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
  • Two supervisory references from within the last three years required
