Job Title : CNC Mill Machinist

Job Description

We seamlessly integrate plastic and metal additive technologies, CNC machining, injection molding & tooling, urethane casting, sheet metal fabrication, and design and engineering to support the medical device and semiconductor sectors. We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to join our CNC Milling Department.

Responsibilities

• Run 2-4 Mazak milling machines using Mazatrol and Mastercam programs.
• Set up and operate CNC milling machine centers, focusing on 3-axis and 5-axis machines.
• Perform MDI (Manual Data Input) programming and G-code editing.
• Inspect parts using manual gauges and instruments, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Understand and interpret GD&T and 2-D drawings.
• Monitor and inspect parts throughout the machining process.
• Adhere to company quality and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to share information and solve technical issues.
• Participate in Lean and 6S manufacturing events.

Work Environment

This position is based in a small custom job shop with approximately 40-45 employees and 20,000 square feet of space housing about 20 machines. Support the milling department on a day shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6 : 00am-3 : 30pm, and Friday, 6 : 00am-10 : 00am.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Round Rock, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00 / hr.
