Senior Manager, Warehouse Operations (Swing)
As the Patagonia Swing Shift Operations Senior Manager in our Reno Service Center, you will lead and support multiple functional departments on the Swing shift. You serve as a leader and point of contact for the Shipping team for both our Reno and Verdi sites, and also for indirect leadership of Receiving, Repairs, Inventory Control and Facilities. Key focus areas include shift communication, supporting the unique needs of the Swing shift teams, and representing the Swing shift business to the Patagonia organization. As a member of the warehouse leadership team, you work with peers to ensure service goals are met across multiple departments.
What You'll Do
- Lead and coordinate production and service levels for all swing shift departments at both the Reno and Verdi warehouse locations.
- Partner with leadership peers to influence good change in the warehouse through proven change management and decision-making practices.
- Develop good processes and communication with all Service Center Departments to facilitate the flow of work through related channels.
- Be a champion for employee equity by ensuring and managing access to professional development, opportunities for promotion, and pay increases.
- Coordinate and facilitate the showing of company meetings and townhalls, implement warehouse events / programs on swing, and communicate company messaging to all swing departments.
- Model and lead Patagonia's Mission around our planet and our people. Ensure your team appropriately balances to production needs with actions that support our people and our planet; finding synergies between both objectives.
- Create strong interdepartmental partnerships to achieve critical business objectives and ensure clear and consistent communication.
- Use metrics to monitor and improve department results, forecast labor and staffing needs, and operate within assigned budget parameters.
- Work closely with IT to stay current on technological improvements while representing the business needs of the department.
- Write and present quarterly and annual employee check-ins as part of the overall performance management process.
- Handle employee relations within the department and in partnership with Human Resources partners.
- Demonstrate emotional intelligence, humility, cultural competence, feedback skills, and the ability to sustain trusted relationships with a wide array of people.
- Participate in hiring and training of new team members.

5 plus years of experience leading large teams in a progressive, collaborative work environmentProven track record of supporting customer and employee needs in an eComm, Wholesale, or Retail settingSkilled at Microsoft Office products, payroll systems, customer order systems, warehouse management programs, or similar tech applicationsPrevious experience managing projects or departments with a minimum of $2M annual spendAbility to research and connect with external vendors and 3rd Party providersEffectively uses multiple communication modes to connect with business partners- Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneNote, Outlook, live meetings, etc.Must be able to juggle multiple tasks and maintain a composed and professional demeanor within a flexible and interruptive work environment.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail so no customer "falls through the cracks".Must be willing to be trained in a variety of new skills as needed.Someone with positive energy and the ability to motivate others in a fast-paced environmentSpanish language familiarity is a plus.Hiring Range : $100,000 to $115,000 USD Annual
At Patagonia, pay ranges are assigned to a job based on the location specific market median of similar jobs according to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary for several reasons including skills / capabilities, experience, and available budget. Note the full pay range for this role ranges from $93,400 to $140,000 USD Annual. The Hiring Range reflects where in the range we intend to hire for this role.
