Tier One Dental Assistant – $25 / hr

Location : Fulton, MO

Join our dynamic dental team as a Tier One Assistant , where you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting advanced dental procedures. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, confident professional who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

Perform Itero scans in under 7 minutes for all case types

Pack retraction cord efficiently to control bleeding and retract tissue

Create and cement single-unit temporary crowns , ensuring accurate occlusion

Remove temporaries, clean and prepare teeth for crown seats, and take post-op bitewings

Assist in standard ortho checks , bracket placement, and wire cases

Deliver and adjust FAOG and NTI appliances

Conduct sedation consults for all tiers and manage NO2 delivery and titration

Independently apply rubber dams for isolation and assist in implant surgeries

Manage implant setups , assist during procedures, and maintain organized kits

Handle independent denture appointments , soft relines, and removable appliance adjustments

Serve as a whitening expert , explaining all treatment options and post-op care

Write detailed doctor notes for all procedures with 100% accuracy

Maintain a fully stocked operatory , support inventory control, and ensure correct setups

Consistently meet KPI goals (90%) and drive departmental efficiency

Navigate Open Dental proficiently—charts, treatment plans, and appointments

Perform routine equipment maintenance , including M11 and Statim, replace O-rings and seals

Conduct waterline testing , remove sutures, apply dry socket paste, and fabricate space maintainers

Complete lab procedures (custom trays, wax rims, retainers, and trays)

Operate CEREC technology : scan, design, and mill restorations independently

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a dental assistant (expanded functions or similar experience preferred)

Strong knowledge of chairside assisting for all major procedures

Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask

Team player with a commitment to patient satisfaction and clinical excellence
