General Dentist Opportunity – Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)

Location : Gentilly – New Orleans, LA

Experience Required : Minimum 2–3 Years in Clinical Practice

About the Position :

A mission-driven healthcare organization serving the Greater New Orleans area is seeking a full-time General Dentist for its modern Gentilly location. As part of a respected network of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), this role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, compassionate care to underserved populations in a community-focused setting.

Position Highlights :

Schedule :

Monday–Friday : 7 : 30 a.m. – 8 : 00 p.m.

Saturday : 8 : 00 a.m. – 2 : 00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver comprehensive dental care to a diverse patient population

Perform a full range of procedures including restorative, root canals, and surgical extractions

Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to dental hygienists and support staff

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on integrated, patient-centered care

Serve as faculty for the AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) residency program

Qualifications :

DDS or DMD from an accredited institution

Active Louisiana dental license and DEA registration

Minimum 2–3 years of clinical experience in general dentistry

Strong commitment to community health and serving vulnerable populations

Compensation & Benefits :

Competitive salary based on experience : $150,000–$175,000 starting base , with potential quarterly bonuses up to $15,000
