Job Description :
- Engineering technician with 3+ years of experience in electrical and mechanical assembly and troubleshooting in a prototype or manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities :
Perform assembly, bring up, and troubleshooting of opto / mechanical / electronic prototype test systemsMechanical assembly testing using calibrated measurement toolsElectrical assembly and testing using specialized equipmentMaintain an organized lab to include part inventory, consumables, tools and 5SPrioritize and balance multiple tasks to complete a given statement of workReach out to responsible design engineers for troubleshooting, clarification, and feedbackAdapt to a daily changing statement of workAssist the wider organization with assembly workMechanical Skills :
Familiar with CAD systems (NX, SolidWorks)Experience with bills of materials and assembly instructionsExperience with basic hand toolsElectrical Skills :
Hand soldering skillsExperience troubleshooting small electronic equipmentFamiliarity with electronic analysis tools to include Multi Meters, Oscilloscopes,Power Supplies Ability to read electrical diagramsGeneral Skills :
