About the Role
We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join a growing analytics team in Denver, Colorado. This role is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact by driving data-informed decision-making across the organization. You’ll collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to design scalable solutions, document processes, and deliver high-quality reporting and insights.
What You’ll Do
- Create reports and analyses from a Snowflake data warehouse, highlighting performance trends across regions and service lines.
- Research and assess software systems to identify opportunities for improved data integration and access.
- Act as the technical liaison between business leaders and technical teams, ensuring data is effectively leveraged for decision-making.
- Document processes, workflows, and reporting structures while identifying areas for improvement.
- Build proof-of-concept data models in SQL to automate data-sharing requests, formalizing them into dashboards with data team support.
- Lead project work on ad hoc initiatives such as regulatory changes, wage requirements, and other complex business challenges.
- Contribute to the development of new data models using dbt within the Snowflake environment.
- Partner with strategy teams to measure post-acquisition performance and provide insights for future planning.
Must-Haves
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.2+ years of experience as a Data or Business Analyst using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, including executives.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate progress effectively.Proven experience documenting processes and building data models for reporting and analysis.Nice-to-Haves
Experience with healthcare or claims data (HIPAA-protected).Background working within organizations that include multiple business units or subsidiaries.Hands-on experience with Power BI for data visualization.Familiarity with dbt and Snowflake.Genuine enthusiasm for data and a passion for solving business problems.Qualifications
