Environmental Remedies is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Grease Trap Truck Operator (CDL B) to join our growing team. This position is responsible for operating vacuum trucks to collect, transport, and dispose of grease trap waste from commercial kitchens, restaurants, schools, and healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and environmental responsibility.
- This is a Night Shift and or Early Morning Shift position.
Core Responsibilities :
Truck Operation : Safely operate a vacuum / pumper truck to collect grease trap waste from client sites across designated routes.Waste Pumping : Remove and clean grease interceptors and surrounding areas to ensure proper sanitation and customer satisfaction.Route Compliance : Adhere to daily route schedules, ensuring timely service and minimal disruption to clients.Safety and Environmental Compliance : Follow all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation, handling, and disposal of non-hazardous waste materials.Vehicle Care : Perform pre- and post-trip inspections; report any mechanical issues and ensure trucks are kept clean and in good working order.Documentation : Accurately complete service forms, route tickets, inspection logs, and related paperwork.Customer Service : Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times, providing courteous service and addressing customer needs in a timely manner.Additional Duties : Assist with other operational or maintenance tasks as required to support team success.Minimum Qualifications :
At least 2 years of experience (required).Valid Class B CDL issued in Georgia.Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).Tanker endorsement.High school diploma or equivalent preferred (strongly recommended).Able to pass a background check, drug screen, and fit-for-duty physical.Prior experience in wastewater or hazardous material transport is a plus.Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs occasionally; up to 50 lbs frequentlyFrequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbingAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsRegular use of hands and arms to operate tools and equipmentSchedule : Nights
Early Morning
Full-time, Monday–Friday, with weekend work and potential for overtime.
