Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies tailored to the needs of the aerospace and defense environment. Assist in emergency response activities as needed, following protocols relevant to the location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner to help maintain order on site. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and monitor for suspicious behavior. Document security-related observations and report incidents to Allied Universal management and / or site leadership as required. Monitor access control points and support visitor management processes as directed by site-specific guidelines. Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support the overall security plan for the location. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Officer - Aero / Defense Patrol Specialist
As a Security Officer - Aero / Defense Patrol Specialist in Appleton, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero / Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. Your primary duties will include conducting routine patrols of assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will work collaboratively with others, upholding our company values of agility, reliability, and integrity while putting people first.
