Staff Pharmacist – Retail / Community (Traveler Position)
( Both Travel and Staff Positions Available)
Shift : Day / Evening / Weekend / Holidays
Schedule : Full-time, 40 hours per week (variable schedule based on pharmacy hours)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist to join our team at a newly established retail pharmacy located in the beautiful town of Moab, Utah. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail / community pharmacist to contribute their skills to a growing healthcare environment while enjoying one of the most scenic regions in the country.

Pharmacy Hours of Operation
Monday – Saturday : 9 : 30 AM – 8 : 30 PM
Sunday : 2 : 30 PM – 7 : 30 PM
Holiday Coverage Required :
Thanksgiving (11 / 26 / 2025 – 11 / 30 / 2025)
Christmas (12 / 23 / 2025 – 12 / 28 / 2025)
New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day (12 / 31 / 2025 – 1 / 2 / 2026)
Compensation for a Permanent full-time position
Starting pay range : $131,040 – $137,280 annually (based on experience)
Pay for Travel position - $70- $79
Responsibilities
Pharmacy Operations
Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with state / federal regulations.
Manage inventory, conduct audits, and optimize stock levels.
Collaborate with suppliers and wholesalers to ensure timely medication availability.
Maintain compliance with the 340B federal program.
Medication Dispensing & Patient Care
Accurately interpret and dispense prescriptions.
Perform medication reviews and interaction checks.
Maintain complete and secure patient records.
Administer immunizations under approved protocols.
Provide patient consultations and exceptional customer service.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
Training & Education
Supervise and train pharmacy technicians or students.
Stay updated with continuing education and licensure requirements.
Community Engagement
Participate in local outreach and patient education activities.
Foster positive relationships with patients and community providers.
Qualifications
Required :
Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (PharmD or BS)
Current and unrestricted Utah Pharmacist License (RPH)
Valid DEA license to dispense controlled substances
Preferred :
3+ years of experience in a retail / community pharmacy
APhA Immunization Certification
Previous pharmacy management or leadership experience
