• RN's - Pass / Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated

• Certifications : BLS Beds : 42- Ratios : 1 : 5-6- How often are staff taking a 1 : 6 ratio? : At least once a week - Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Medical, surgical, and orthopedics- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? : Yes- Any titratable drips? : NO, except Heparin- RT available and what equipment? (has only worked with RT doing all setup) : RT is 24 hours on the floor- Tele on the floor at all, central tele (any monitor techs)? : Yes Tele's on the floor, but we have a centralized Tele station.- Are there nurse aids / patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties? : Yes- 1 : 10-12- Shifts & Scheduling : 0630-1900, 1830-0700- Weekend Requirement : As needed- Holiday Requirement : As needed- Is there Call or a Standby requirement? : No- Floating Requirements : PCU or Burn- Scrub Color / Dress Code / Scrubs provided? : Navy blue- How many shifts of unit / department specific orientation? : First week is classroom and then 2-12 hour shifts on the floorRadius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity.RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract).
