As our Activities Assistant (Seasonal) , you will help coordinate a variety of activities for the resort.

Requirements : Job Requirements :

• Perform as a Jellystone Park mascot by engaging in playful interactions while maintaining the character's personality and creating a memorable experience for guests of all ages
• Coordinate and attend all activities such as crafts, games, special events, etc.
• Operate cash register by receiving, counting, and managing cash transactions
• Set up and clean up after crafts and events, as well as maintain costume care
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
• Help maintain a tracking sheet to monitor attendance for each activity
• Ensure all equipment and supplies are kept in good condition
• Maintain the appearance of the Arcade, Bowling Alley, and Recreation Center, both indoors and outdoors, by completing daily cleaning tasks
• Must have a reliable source of transportation
• Other job duties may be assigned

Job Qualifications :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
