Water Wastewater Engineer

Arcadis is looking for a Water Wastewater Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team in Plantation, Miami, or Boca Raton, Florida. The role requires a dedicated, creative, and energetic candidate interested in tackling challenges and developing sustainable solutions related to water, wastewater, or utility sector issues surrounding quality, scarcity, reuse, management, and resilience. This position offers rapid growth and development opportunities, collaborating with experienced Water Professionals to support, manage, and drive project development while interacting with clients and advancing technical and professional capabilities.

Role Accountabilities

The Water Wastewater Engineer will contribute to the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater distribution and collection systems, pump and lift stations, and treatment plants. Responsibilities include performing engineering evaluations, modeling, and analysis to support project development; preparing design and construction documentsreports, technical memoranda, specifications, and cost estimatesto ensure alignment with project requirements and industry standards; supporting construction administration; leading or assisting with permitting activities; and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams. The engineer will also play a key role in producing high?quality design documentation and reports to meet or exceed client expectations and Arcadis standards. Travel may be required for site visits, client meetings, safety audits, planning purposes, or construction oversight, depending on staffing needs.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of water, wastewater, and / or stormwater experience in engineering and consulting.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related ABET?accredited field.
• EIT or PE Certification.

Salary range for this position is $70,000 $100,000 per year, with actual compensation depending on experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
