Facility Info – ICU Float Pool RN (WA)
Auto Deduction : 1.75% WA state tax (can be re-added)
Offer : Auto-offer based on clinical review; start date & RTO need manager approval
Float Units : ICU, ED Boarders (in-patients only), MedSurg, Observation
Ratios : ICU 1 : 1–1 : 2 | PCU / ED 1 : 3–4 | MedSurg 1 : 5–6
Certs Required : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, WA / Compact RN
Experience : 2+ yrs ICU; must handle Swans, IABP, Impella; able to float to MedSurg
Skills : Drip titration (sedation, vasoactive, paralytics), tele strip reading
Support : Charge RN & aides on most units; full RT support
Schedule : Set / flexible; every other weekend; holidays required; OT optional
Call : None
Assignments : Given 30–60 mins before shift
Dress Code : Any professional scrubs or business casual for trainings
Orientation : 1 onboarding day + 2 float shifts
