Overview

Job Description : Pay Range : $54hr - $59hr

  • The Program Manager will oversee large-scale projects and programs while ensuring compliance with quality systems and change control processes.
  • This role involves developing and implementing strategies, facilitating team collaboration, and driving accountability to achieve program goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage one or more large-scale projects / programs, ensuring strict adherence to quality systems and change control processes.
  • Facilitate the creation and approval of business cases within the program and coordinate the sharing and prioritization of resources among projects.
  • Develop detailed program plans and manage program changes accordingly.
  • Implement strategies related to quality assurance, risk management, communications, staffing, and other core areas.
  • Communicate program status and maintain accurate and current program information for stakeholders.
  • Facilitate core team meetings and other required meetings to support program execution, while regularly assessing and enhancing meeting processes and workflows.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in project and program management, providing guidance and mentorship to peers.
  • Build trust, rapport, and respect with project team members and stakeholders through transparent and effective communication.
  • Create a culture of urgency and accountability to meet or exceed project goals.
  • Drive effective resolution of complex problems and maintain forward momentum during crises and changes.
  • Demonstrate strong influence across all organizational levels.
  • Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years of direct experience managing New Product Development projects and / or programs of increasing complexity.
  • Proven success managing projects in the medical device industry involving software, firmware, thermoplastic hardware, and disposable components.
  • Proficient understanding of medical device regulations and product development processes.
  • Strong track record of leadership within complex organizations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management systems.
  • Ability to see the big picture and determine the best course of action for the business.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to work cooperatively across all levels in a matrix environment to achieve organizational goals.
  • Proven decision-making proficiency, with the ability to negotiate and balance priorities across multiple departments.
  • Should Have (Preferred Industry Experience)

  • Medical device industry experience highly preferred.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare sectors may be considered.
  • Skills

  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of project management software such as Jira and Microsoft DevOps.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead meetings with external representatives.
  • Commitment to EHS rules and requirements, including prevention of injuries and environmental protection.
  • Qualification And Education

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Masters degree preferred.
  • PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is a plus.
