The Department of Pediatrics of the University Of IllinoisCollege Of Medicine at Peoria (UICOMP) seeks Pediatric Cardiac Electrophysiologycandidates for a pediatric cardiology faculty position. This cardiologist will work primarily at OSFHealthcare Children's Hospital of Illinois. The candidate must hold an MD / DOdegree, be board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric cardiology, and holdor be eligible for an Illinois physician license. Candidates must have completed residency& fellowship training. Additionaltraining and / or extensive experience in pediatric and congenital cardiacelectrophysiology, invasive and non-invasive, is required.
The candidate will join a well-established team of 8pediatric cardiologists, 2 pediatric cardiovascular surgeons, 4 advancedpractice providers, and EP nursing. Professionalefforts will be bolstered by state of the art facilities, including EPlab. Excellent collaboration existsamong pediatric subspecialists as well as adult cardiology colleagues. UICOMP supports a thriving education programwith medical students, residents, and fellows.
Clinical activities will include outpatient clinics,inpatient rotation, and procedural time. Travel to outreach clinics located insurrounding community cities is required. Inpatient and procedural care is provided at OSF Healthcare Children'sHospital of Illinois (CHOI). Clinical activities of this faculty member will beat the full time assistant / associate / professor rank based on the experience ofthe candidate.
