Therapists will provide advisory services to team members, ensuring quality patient care. The role functions under the direct supervision of the Director and Assistant Director. Key responsibilities include evaluation of patients, covering orders, diagnoses, history, subjective findings, functional mobility, and discharge planning. The therapist will provide treatment that addresses functional, psychosocial, cultural, educational, and spiritual needs. Therapeutic modalities include ultrasound, hot packs, electrical stimulation, and therapeutic interventions. The position also requires effective interdisciplinary collaboration and documentation. Education is provided to patients and caregivers, covering home programs and equipment use. Documentation must be completed timely and in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Therapists must support budgetary practices and meet departmental productivity standards. Customer satisfaction must reflect organizational values, utilizing effective communication techniques. Professional development involves advancing knowledge and providing effective supervision to students during clinical rotations. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Physical demands include heavy lifting and extensive bending, standing, and pushing. Competency in equipment used for delivering modalities is required.
