Job descriptionDocument and analyze business reporting requirements. Design, validate, create, and distribute reports according to business requirements. Create Complex SQL queries. Create custom and accurate data extracts. Combine data from multiple sources to produce complex reports and graphs. Produce technical documentation of reports generated. Facilitate product / application implementation and data extracts. Ensure company service standards are continually achieved in the area of responsibility. Identify opportunities to improve workflow and procedural efficiency. Assist in the evaluation of products, services, and software applications. Provide effective operational support to all areas of the organization. Test and implement software releases / upgrades, coordinating with Technology, Compliance, Training, etc. as required. Ensure accurate documentation of software problems and their resolution. Act as operations contact (OC) and primary point of contact for software applications. Demonstrate high-level communication skills; think strategically and on an enterprise-wide basis. Ensure activities within the assigned functional area of responsibility are in line with company policy. Develop a comprehensive governance structure of the Business Intelligence Unit, which ensures the proper intake of reporting needs and output of said reporting requirements. Supervise any supporting personnel of the Business Intelligence Unit, which may include training, monitoring of report generation, and periodic enhancements to team processes. Serve as the internal leader of iDashboards to ensure business lines system skill use and application adoption. Develop a team culture that enhances internal data analysis capabilities to support business line needs in both a reactive and proactive manner. Knowledge of Crystal Reports, SQL, and all MS applications. Bachelor's degree highly preferred. Business analytical experience from a financial institution is highly preferred

Compensation : $96,000 - $120,000
Location : Stamford, CT - full-time onsite to start
