As a Bakery Team Member you will be an integral part of our new and exciting bakery operation, ensuring our bakery products are made correctly and to spec. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the successful establishment, management, and growth of our bakery operations, whilst maintaining consistent product quality, efficiency, and adherence to company standards throughout the operations.
Your Responsibilities :
Follow the daily production guide provided to you from Bakery Team LeaderBake / make all our products to company approved spec, ensuring the customer always purchases a perfect product.Maintain the expected company standard of operation throughout the dayDaily safety logs are filled in whilst you’re on shiftEnsure production levels are correct for volume of business, ensuring you maximise all possible sales whilst minimizing unnecessary wastageMaintain High standards of cleanliness and organization, following our HACCP and SOP plans that have been providedEnsure out of date stock is removed and recorded each dayWill know and understand what it means to deliver amazing customer service and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding customer expectations.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.Should be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards.Should have a warm, personable nature and a can-do attitude.Must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver.Other Responsibilities :
Ensure Health and Safety is an absolute priority, and you not only adhere to but excel in all areas of company policy ensuring your Bakery pasess Kroger / Safeserv / Safety Culture audits. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.Assist with any new openings to support the ongoing growth of the business and follow up with post-opening support where required.Work with an inclusive mindset, always supporting your other colleagues and engaging in teamworkWeekly hours will be flexible according to business needs, with average of 40+ hours for Full time and 20 hours for part time. Due to the 7-day nature of our operation, weekend work will be required.
Qualifications :
Experience in another food business is preferableKnowledge and understanding of both workplace Health and Safety and Food Safety proceduresMust have Servsafe certificate or obtain before working in the bakeryYou’re passionate about the guest and the guest experience, leading by example to ensure a superior level of service across your division.Ability to communicate clearly with both your line manager and other teamYou must have a great working knowledge of the kitchen, food specs, product knowledge and health and safety. Able to identify poor food standards and able to communicate and train the teams to rectify the issues at hand. You drive sales by training teams to deliver excellent service, the best standards of food and a clean, safe store.What's In It For You?
