Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pre-Op / Post Anesthesia Care Nurse located in Wexford, PA. The role involves monitoring patients in post-anesthesia care, assessing and managing patient conditions, administering medications, and coordinating with surgical and anesthesia teams. The nurse will also be responsible for providing education to patients and their families about recovery processes and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Clinical skills in pre / post-anesthesia care, patient assessment, and medication administration
• Experience with patient education, family communication, and follow-up care
• Strong teamwork and coordination abilities involving surgical and anesthesia teams
• Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Current RN license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field is preferred
• Experience in orthopedic care or surgery centers is a plus
