Tenure Track Faculty Full Professor and Associate Director of Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination (CRTEC)

Position Overview : The WVU Cancer Institute is seeking a visionary and dynamic leader to serve as a Tenure Track Faculty Full Professor in Radiation Oncology and the Associate Director of the Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination (CRTEC) program. This dual role is integral to advancing the institute's mission of achieving NCI designation and fostering a robust cancer research and education ecosystem.

Faculty Role :

• Design and lead an impactful, externally funded foundational cancer research program.
• Demonstrate a commitment to teaching and mentoring, with experience in directing NCI Cancer Research Training and Education (CRTEC) programs.
• Collaborate with existing faculty to enhance research, training, and teaching portfolios.
• Secure and manage research funding from NIH, CDC, industry, and foundations.
• Publish multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and present research at state, regional, and national levels.

This is a full-time position based at the WVU Cancer Institute, with an anticipated start in Spring 2025.
