About The Position
SHIFT : Varies 8 s 10 s and 12 s with mainly 12 s, could be 7AM-7 : 30PM, 7AM-5 : 30PM or 8AM-5PMSTART : ASAPRATE : $90
- Type of patients on the unit : Inpatient, Outpatient and of an accredited Medical Sonography or Radiology Technology Program required.Registered Vascular Specialist (RSV) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT is required.BLS is required.1-2 years exp in vascular ultrasound preferred.Weekend RequirementWeekends requiredOn Call RequirementCall required and must have own transportationFloating Requirement / LocationsFloating required between two campusesNurse / Patient Ratio10-15 cases per advanced cardiac and vascular circulation diagnostic exams using echo, ultrasound, and / or Doppler equipment.Responsibilities : Performs ultrasound examinations of the cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels to assist the physician in the diagnosis of disorders affecting the circulation May perform therapeutic procedures such as psedoaneurysm compression Records and maintains tests data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results and other duties as assigned Depending on hospital department, may also Performs routine abdominal, small parts, breast, OB / GYN, and other vascular ultrasound procedures Assist physicians with biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and needle localization procedures. of an accredited Medical Sonography or Radiology Technology Program required.1-2 years exp in vascular ultrasound preferred.Registered Vascular Specialist (RSV) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT is required.BLS is required.Work 8 s 10 s and 12 s with mainly 12 s, could be 7AM-7 : 30PM, 7AM-5 : 30PM or 8AM-5PMWork TimeShow more
