Job descriptionPosition Template Facility Name : Mercy Hospital South Floor : Cardiac Medical Intensive Care Unit Location Address : 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128 Role : RN Specialty : Cardiac Medical ICU Number of Openings : 2 Shift : Nights, 1900-0730 Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36 or 48 – must be indicated on submission form Assignment Length : 13 weeks Weekend Hours : As required by facility / every other weekend Call Requirements : None Current RN License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri) Required Certifications : BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS Years of Experience : 3 years Cardiac and / or Medical ICU, CVI experience of recovering open hearts directly from the OR Must Have Skills / Experience : 3 years Cardiac Medical ICU, inpatient only Preferred Skillset / Experience : experience with medical ICU patients, cardiac emphasis (arrhythmias, STEMI, post arrest) Shift : Nights, 1900-0730 Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36 or 48 – must be indicated on submission form Weekend Hours : As required by facility / every other weekend Number of Beds : 22 Patient Ratios : 1 : 2 Equipment : Impella, IABP, Prismax CRRT, Zoll internal cooling device, Arctic Sun EMR : EPIC Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
