Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Roofer to join our field crew. The Roofer works under the direction of the Roofing Foreman to perform tear-offs, roof installations, repairs, and clean-up tasks. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, commitment to safety, and a strong work ethic.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Roof Installation & Repairs : Tear off existing roofing materials safely and efficiently; install underlayment, shingles, flashing, and other roofing components; assist with roof repairs as directed; follow all installation procedures per manufacturer and code.
  • Site Support & Prep : Set up ladders, fall protection, and staging areas; load / unload materials; keep work areas clean and organized; ensure tools are handled safely and returned to storage.
  • Team Collaboration : Follow directions from the Foreman; communicate job site needs or issues promptly; maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Safety & Quality : Use PPE and fall protection at all times; follow safety rules and report hazards or incidents; perform work to meet or exceed company quality standards.

    Education & Certifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's license preferred but not required

    • Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in roofing or construction preferred.

    • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
  • Field-based role with daily physical activity, labor, and ladder work
  • Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
  • Fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring flexibility and focus

    • Physical Demands

  • Lift 50+ pounds; stand, walk, climb ladders, kneel, bend, and reach; use fine motor skills; see details at close range; and perform repetitive motions

    • Travel

    Employee is required to travel for business purposes as needed. If travel is required, must have a valid Driver's License / Insurance and the ability to drive a personal vehicle to different sites.
