Facility Technician Position
Are you looking for a seasonal role where you can stay active, work outdoors, and be part of a dedicated team? Field work begins when the snow flies, with some preseason training expected (up to 5 hours). If you live more than 20 miles from the worksite, mileage beyond that distance is reimbursed at $0.50 per mile. Because we've posted this position in areas farther from our worksites, during major winter events overnight accommodations will be provided to ensure team members are close to the site and able to respond quickly. These stays are arranged as needed and typically last 2-6 days.
At JMC Enterprises, we specialize in trailer-top snow and ice removal to keep roads safe during the winter months. As a Facility Technician, you'll primarily work at a specific distribution center but may also be asked to work at other sites, as needed. You'll be working alongside a skilled team to remove snow and ice from trailers, learning from experienced leaders while contributing directly to winter operations. We're looking for team members who ideally have experience operating snow plows and / or front-wheel loaders, though it's not required for all positions. This hands-on, seasonal role kicks in when the snow falls, giving you the chance to stay active outdoors and be part of a team that makes a real difference whenever the job calls for it.
