Job Description :
We Are Seeking an Azure Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based data solutions that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making. This role focuses on developing robust data pipelines, optimizing ETL / ELT processes, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and maintain Azure-based data pipelines using cloud analytics platforms.
- Develop and optimize ETL / ELT processes to ingest, transform, validate, and integrate data from multiple source systems.
- Implement and manage data models, views, and performance optimization strategies in cloud SQL and analytics environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data pipeline and performance issues.
- Document data flows, transformation logic, technical standards, and system processes.
- Collaborate with analysts, reporting teams, and external partners to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
- Integrate structured and semi-structured data from various sources including APIs, file transfers, and vendor systems.
- Apply source control, deployment practices, and CI / CD pipelines to data engineering workflows.
- Support continuous improvement of data architecture, performance, and reliability.
Required Skills :
Minimum 5 years of experience developing and orchestrating data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or similar cloud platforms.Experience in data warehousing and analytics engineering using cloud-based SQL environments.Strong T-SQL expertise including query optimization, indexing strategies, stored procedures, and performance tuning.Experience implementing ETL / ELT frameworks including incremental data loads, change data capture (CDC), and error-handling practices.Experience integrating structured and semi-structured data formats such as CSV, JSON, and XML from APIs, file transfers, and vendor systems.Experience with source control and deployment practices using Git, Azure DevOps, and CI / CD pipelines.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience working with education data, reporting environments, or student information systems.Familiarity with Common Education Data Standards (CEDS) or similar data standards.Relevant cloud data engineering certification (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate).Available Benefits :
