• Work 3x12 day shifts from 06 : 45 - 19 : 15
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Must have 2 years of recent Med Surg / Tele experience
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS
• Must pass telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips
• Care for 29-bed unit with 1 : 4-6 patient ratio staffed with RNs and CNA / CCTs
• Treat patients with medical or stable telemetry diagnoses including COPD, sepsis, respiratory illnesses, ETOH withdrawal, diabetes, GI bleed
• All telemetry patients monitored remotely by CCT
• May be required to float to other units based on competency level
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Eve Days = 1 Holiday)
• Required to pick up one additional shift during each 4-week schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends and holidays
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and families
