About the Role

Analyst will ensure seamless execution of mortgage loan sales and purchases within the Home Lending Division and the Secondary Marketing Department.

• Manage and coordinate external bulk mortgage sales and purchase settlements with internal partners and external stakeholders Works closely with the trade desk, servicing, collateral management, treasury, legal, and other team members to support a smooth transaction process.
• Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date record of all mortgage transactions, including key milestones, timelines, and involved parties.
• Develop and deliver regular reports on transaction progress, highlighting any delays, bottlenecks, and issues requiring attention.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to address transaction statuses, resolve challenges, and ensure alignment of deadlines.
• Identify potential or existing delays in the transaction process, investigate root causes, and collaborate with relevant parties to implement timely solutions.
• Recommend and implement strategies to streamline transaction workflows, improve efficiency, and reduce errors and delays.
• Ensure that all transactions adhere to Columbia Bank standards, legal and regulatory requirements, and mortgage industry best practices.
• Performs related duties as assigned by management.
• Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
• Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
• May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
• Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words.

Our Benefits

We offer a competitive total rewards package including base wages and comprehensive benefits. The pay range for this role is $65,000.00 to $90,000.00 and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
