The Procurement and Planning Manager at Cristek Anaheim is a leadership role within the Supply Chain department. This individual will oversee both the procurement and planning functions, ensuring alignment with company goals and contributing to the strategic direction of the department. This position requires hands-on leadership, operational acumen, and the ability to manage cross-functional relationships while upholding the high standards of quality and performance expected in the aerospace sector. The role directly reports to the General Manager and is integral to driving efficiency and responsiveness in supply chain operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage the Procurement and Planning teams for Cristek Anaheim
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing and planning initiatives
- Work with group and segment procurement leadership to support common supply chain initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely procurement and material availability
- Oversee demand planning, forecasting, and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations and is flowed correctly to the sub-tiers
- Monitor supplier performance and manage vendor relationships
- Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or timelines
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP) to manage procurement and planning workflows
- Contribute to long-term supply chain strategies and continuous improvement initiatives
- Report on KPIs and departmental performance to senior leadership
Requirements : QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of :
SAP or similar ERP systemsSupply chain management principles in the aerospace or a similar industryFAR and DFAR regulations and the nature of flow down requirementsManufacturing of assembly, electronics, mechanical and multilayer bill of materials (BOM) is preferredAdvanced Excel functionalities and Microsoft Office toolsAbility to :

Preferred : Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field; or equivalent professional experience plus certification in supply chain and planning (e.g. APICS, CPIM, CSCP)
Minimum of 7 years of supply chain, procurement, or planning experience in the aerospace or a related industry2 years proven leadership and organization change experience
