Configuration Management Specialist - Journeyman

Summary :

DAS Services is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist (Journeyman level) to support software development projects by developing and implementing configuration management (CM) processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software configuration auditing, version control, and baseline management, along with hands-on experience using CM tools and scripting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain Configuration Management (CM) Plans .
• Audit software change procedures, development, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with CM plans and procedures.
• Participate in design reviews , configuration audits, and software product evaluations.
• Ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of software baselines across systems.
• Manage code repositories, conduct audits, and support documentation control for software projects.
• Utilize CM tools such as JIRA, Puppet, Confluence, GitHub , and scripting languages to automate processes.
• Support and enhance CM practices within DevSecOps and Agile environments.

Required Qualifications :

Proficiency with CM tools (e.g., JIRA, Puppet, GitHub, Confluence ).
