American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, dual national certifications, and Siemens PET / CT experience for a teaching hospital assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a Level 1 trauma, teaching hospital setting on the Nuclear Medicine unitPrimarily perform PET / CT scans with Siemens equipmentSchedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PMMay be required to work up to 2 Saturdays per month depending on unit needsNo regular night, holiday, or on-call requirementsCharting is completed using Epic EMRPosition involves administering PET / CT procedures and ensuring radiation safety protocols are followedTeal top and black pants required for scrubsPrevious staff, including PRN, must have separated for at least 1 year to be consideredAll requested time off must be included at time of consideration; approval based on unit needsLocal candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a reduced local rateTravelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June–November)Parking available nights and weekends with a one-time feePre-start online modules required, averaging 4 hours to complete\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 1 year Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienceCurrent NMTCB and ARRT certifications with either Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, or Computed Tomography on the certificationActive SCRQSA state licensure in Nuclear Medicine and either Radiology or Computed Tomography required; license required if applicableCurrent BLS certification (AHA)Experience with Siemens PET / CT scanners requiredRadiation badge must be supplied by the agencyAccepts first-time travelers\n Benefits\n
