Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details Location : Tupelo, MS 38801 (Mississippi healthcare jobs) Unit : Cardiac Stepdown Unit (16 beds) Contract Length : 13 weeks Start Date : December 3, 2025 or December 17, 2025 Shift : 12-hour days (7 : 00am – 7 : 00pm) Hours per Week : 36 Schedule : 3-1-3 or 6 on / 8 off (schedule provided at contract start) Employment Type : Travel RN, W2 EMR System : Epic Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Mississippi RN license (Registered Nurse jobs in Mississippi) Minimum 1 year of recent cardiac stepdown or stepdown RN experience BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) NIH Stroke Scale certification Ability to float to other stepdown units as needed Availability for weekends and holidays (must be available for Christmas Eve / Day or New Year's Eve / Day) Pass Basic and Advanced Dysrhythmia (rhythm strip) tests with 80% or higher Complete compliance documentation 7 days before start date No perm / per diem work at NMMC in the last 12 months Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient conditions Administer prescribed medications and treatments Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for patient care planning Accurately document patient care in Epic EMR Float to other stepdown units as required Maintain flexibility for scheduling, including weekends and holidays Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training Discover the charm of Tupelo and grow your nursing career with this rewarding travel RN job.
