JOB SUMMARY :

Transfer new CAT machines into Empire’s rental inventory. Assign tracking identification numbers to Empire’s bulk attachments. Open and review work orders on new machine purchases. Assist in warranty on new machines. Notify Sales Department of rental machine purchases.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Transfer all new and leased CAT machines into Empire’s Rental fleet.
  • Notify the warranty department for accurate warranty start date on new machine buys.
  • Notify the accounting department to schedule machine purchases on new machine buys.
  • Tag off attachments from new machines in system.
  • Assist in notifying field service department of new machine purchases.
  • Ensure machine specifications show correct in all systems.
  • Confirm warranty start date.
  • Notifying CAT to pin and score machines.
  • Open work orders for all new rental purchases.
  • Assist rental coordinators in answering multiple phone lines.
  • Perform clerical and other assignments as directed by Rental Managers.
  • Maintain knowledge of rental department operations, policies, controls, and systems.
  • Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Handle all billing relations in the absence of the Rental Billing Coordinator.
  • Perform additional administrative duties assigned by management.
  • Work within and promote corporate values.
  • KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

  • Must have computer experience and able to type 35 wpm.
  • Previous knowledge and experience in computer software such as Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Professional demeanor for effective telephone communication.
  • Some knowledge of Empire’s business practices and rental operations.
  • Ability to maintain consistent attendance
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • 1-3 years experience in a Rental or Inventory environment.
  • Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
