We are seeking an energetic, driven, fun-loving, compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technicians to join our team. A background in healthcare, early childhood education, theater and / or music is preferred, however it is not required.
You will receiving ongoing training, in evidence-based strategies, throughout our time with Amare Dignitas Inc. The Behavior Technician will work closely with individuals diagnosed on the spectrum, implementing evidence-based strategies to promote positive behavior change. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care, data collection, and behavioral health practices to support our clients effectively. On-going training and supervision will be provided.
Responsibilities
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA).Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home and community environments.Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.Assist in conducting patient assessments to identify needs and develop appropriate strategies.Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all interactions with clients and their families.Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent application of behavioral strategies.Engage in ongoing training and professional development related to applied behavior analysis (ABA).Qualifications
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred.Knowledge of applied behavior analysis is highly desirable.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.Ability to collect data accurately for client assessments and on-going treatment.A commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a respectful and empathetic manner that honors the sacredness and dignity of each individual.Completion of the registered behavior technician (RBT) certification process prior to or within 30 days of being assigned to your first client. 40-hour training will be paid and provided by the company.
