Job Title : Women s Health Nurse Practitioner (Locum Tenens)

Location : Anadarko, Oklahoma

Facility Type : Tribal Health Clinic

Assignment Length : 12-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)

Schedule : Full-Time Monday Friday Day Shift

Compensation : Competitive Hourly Rate + Travel and Lodging Assistance

Overview :

Join a dedicated care team at a well-respected tribal health facility in Anadarko, OK, serving a vibrant Native American population. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Women s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to provide full-scope OB / GYN care in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver comprehensive women s health services, including prenatal and postpartum care, annual exams, family planning, contraception counseling, and STI screenings
• Collaborate with OB / GYN physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure culturally competent and patient-centered care
• Perform routine gynecologic procedures (e.g., Pap smears, endometrial biopsies, IUD insertion / removal)
• Document all patient encounters thoroughly in the electronic medical record
• Provide health education and promote preventative care within the community

Qualifications :

Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (ANY STATE LICENSE ACCEPTED under federal / tribal guidelines)

Board Certified Women s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) preferred

Minimum 2 years of women s health experience strongly preferred

DEA license and BLS certification required

Prior experience working in Native / Tribal health, rural health, or underserved settings is a plus

Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary care team
